For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

A sword, a seed, even the “words of life” — God’s Word is depicted in so many beautiful ways throughout scripture. Speaking to us in our day-to-day lives and cutting deep down to the motives of our hearts, His Word is truly living and active. We’ll explore this and more in today’s episode, starting with Hebrews 4:12.
