Join me today for Part 3 of The Watchman Anointing. We’ll talk about the different purposes for watchmen, the types of burdens they can carry, and how to discover the unique callings we each have as intercessors.
The watchman anointing is an awesome honor and gift from the Lord. With it, we can lean in to pray for those things that are already on God’s heart as we remind Him of His promises throughout scripture. I’ll also share a few powerful stories of times the Lord has revealed warnings to me, and how prayer has thwarted the plans of the enemy!
My prayer today is that YOU will be released in a deeper place of intercession to find your strategic place as a “watchman on the wall!”

As “watchmen on the wall,” we stand with the anointed shield of faith to deflect the arrows of the enemy and pray into what the Lord is doing in our nation. Today, Amy challenges us to ask God what He is encouraging us to do. Whether it’s prayer, fasting or diving into the Word, we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we pray for our governmental leaders and those influencing the political realm. On this Election Day episode of Tuesdays with Tina we’re diving into a new series called “The Watchman Anointing.” Throughout history, God has revealed things to come to his servants the prophets. It’s the prophet’s job to warn the people and to pray so that the enemy’s plans can be thwarted.

The interior journey of the soul from the wilds of sin into the enjoyed Presence of God is beautifully illustrated in the Old Testament tabernacle.

Last week we journeyed through the Tabernacle of Moses in our minds’ eyes, using praise and worship to approach the Holy of Holies. As I was praying about this week’s teaching, the Lord reminded me that we can’t really talk about the Moses tabernacle without also talking about the tabernacle of David!
David established a tabernacle in Israel that was known for 24/7 worship and prayer. Although it looked similar to Moses’ on the exterior, this tabernacle had no veil inside separating the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies. What a beautiful picture of the new covenant that God made with man through Jesus!
I’ll also share some info on the “David’s Tent” prayer movements taking place throughout the nation. Hearkening back to the non-stop prayer and worship from David’s times and foreshadowing things to come as detailed in Revelation, these movements reveal the heart of David and, ultimately, that of Jesus.

The eagle is the king of the air. It is known for its ability to soar above the storm. With sharp vision it can spot its prey from miles away. Covered with majestic feathers and armed with powerful talons, they are designed to perform extraordinary feats. Today calls for a “Selah” moment—a time to pause and reflect. Following some heavy topics over the past few weeks, the Lord put it on my heart to spend this episode in praise and worship.
I’ll open up with a short teaching on the tabernacle of Moses as we look at the steps God laid out for sinful people to approach a Holy God. Now, because of what Jesus has done on the cross, the veil is torn and we can enter into that Holy of Holies to be with the Lord! So let’s do that today, symbolically, as we pause and reflect on who Jesus is and worship at his throne.

As we continue in our series on “Exposing the Tactics of Satan in Our Time,” it’s important we remember to stay focused on the one thing that matters most: Jesus—our true King and ruler of the universe. Philippians 4:8 says we must let our minds dwell on those things that are true, honorable and right, not on the enemy or even on ourselves. In a digital world where smart devices command our attention by the minute and shape our daily habits, this can be quite hard to do!
